Bochurim help nab thief who robbed Crown Heights woman in broad daylight
On Monday afternoon, around 2:30pm a middle aged Jewish woman was knocked down to the ground on President and Albany and her purse was stolen by two black teenage thugs.
Two Bochurim gave chase, and caught one of the thugs with the purse in hand in front of 1505 President. Passing yidden stopped to help and called Shmira. Shmira members responded and took over for a short while till NYPD showed up and placed the young thug under arrest.
A Shmira member drove the witnesses to the police station and coordinated the complaint with police.
The victim was treated by Hatzolah.
