Following the wave of assaults perpetrated against residents of Crown Heights and guests who came for Tishrei, Assembly Man Dov Hikind visited Crown Heights. During his visit, which was organized by R’ Chanina Sperlin of the Vaad Hkohol and R’ Eli Slavin, Shmira members brought Hikind to the places where the attacks occurred, and gave him a full report of all of the unfortunate events of the last few months. “I will not rest until Crown Heights will be a safe place, it is completely absurd that someone has to be afraid to leave his house out of fear of being attacked” said Hikind at the end of his visit.
