Second Monsey fire in 24 hours destroys vacant house

A vacant single family home that was reduced to charred rubble after an overnight fire was being inspected for evidence of arson, a top fire official said this morning.

High court orders Jewish town to set aside land for Arab couple

The High Court of Justice on Wednesday issued a temporary injunction ordering that a plot of land in the predominantly Jewish town of Rakefet be set aside for an Israeli Arab couple who had been previously denied entry to the community for “lack of suitability.”

Chabad School in Kiev Burns

Arsonists set fire to a Chabad school in Kiev on Wednesday evening. Entire sections of the the Simcha School were torched, reported Rabbi Mordechai Levenhartz, who worked with firefighters as they tried to put out the flames.

Swastika painted on Jewish professor’s door in NY

Police clash with rioters in Israeli-Arab town

Anger over a cellular phone antenna ignited violence in an ordinarily quiet Arab town in Israel’s north early Tuesday, with hundreds of rioters pelting police on an arrest raid with rocks, police said. Nearly two dozen people were wounded, two of them seriously.

She had success with a job hunt on Craigslist.com before. She worked as a nanny for more than a year.

IDF Eliminates Hamas Terrorist

IDF troops attacked terrorist strongholds in southern Gaza Sunday night killing one Hamas terrorist in fierce fighting near the Sufa Crossing. Monday morning, the IDF conducted counter terror operations in northern Gaza which ended before noon.

Suspect in Burning Man arson arrested

Court Declines Case Involving Painting

Olmert Announces He Has a Prostate Growth

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, 62, announced Monday at noon that he has a microscopic-sized growth in his prostate gland.  He said that surgery to remove it is tentatively scheduled for the coming months, and that no chemotherapy or radiation treatments are required.

Apple Limits iPhone Purchases

People looking to walk into an Apple retailer and buy an iPhone with cash will be out of luck. The company is now accepting only credit or debit card payments for the devices so they can track who purchases the phone, according to an employee at the Apple Store in New York’s SoHo neighborhood.
