Man extricated from car after Palisades crash
A 27-year-old man had to be extricated from his car after he drove into a tree on the Palisades Interstate Parkway northbound between exits 12 and 13 in Ramapo about 3:20 p.m. yesterday. The driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, said Hillcrest Fire Chief Chris Kear. State police, the Spring Hill Ambulance Corps and Rockland Paramedic Services also responded to the scene.
