Beit Shemesh, Israel - Railway investigators are on the scene of a collision between a train and a bulldozer near Beit Shemesh. The bulldozer had attempted to cross the tracks against a red light, causing the accident that injured 31 people.

The train’s conductor spotted something from a distance and managed to slow down sufficiently to minimize the damage from the accident. All the injured were evacuated to local hospitals, but no one had any major injuries as per emergency units on the scene..

One of the passengers said that the bulldozer had been smashed and flung aside by the force of the impact and that the front of the train was bent out of shape.
